With our A-minor Steel Tongue Drum you will experience how easy it is to practice melodic percussion. A Tank Drum can be played with hands or with mallets (drumsticks). Play the drum with your hands for a softer / quieter tone or with the included mallets (drumsticks) for a brighter / louder tone. These different ways of playing the Tank Drum provide a wide variation in playing experience and sound.
This drum has 8 notes, together they form an A-minor tuning. The tongues are cut out of the steel by hand and tuned several times. This ensures the precise tuning and clean sound. The Tank Drum is ideal for spiritual, meditative and therapeutic purposes, but the Steel Tongue Drum is also beautiful in combination with other instruments.

Myko Series
The Myko series has a diameter of 16cm and features 8 notes. This drum is known for its compact size. Thanks to its convenient size and light weight, it’s easy to take it with you wherever you go. The pentatonic tuning and pleasant resonance produce a melodic sound. The C-Major scale creates an energetic and euphoric (joyful) tone. The sound is higher compared to the larger models.
Constellation Series
The Constellation series has a diameter of 28cm and is available with 8 or 9 notes. This drum is characterized by its warm and deep sound. It has a long resonance, which allows the tones to blend beautifully. The G-Major and Lydian scales create an energetic and euphoric (joyful) tone. The A-Minor scale has a relaxing and melancholic (meditative) quality, while the AkeBono scale produces a sound that is both relaxing and mysterious.
Zephyr Series

The C# Amara scale offers not only a meditative sound but also uplifting elements that bring a positive, vibrant energy to the performance.

A Tongue Drum can be played with both hands and mallets (drumsticks). Playing with your hands creates a warmer, deeper tone, while using drumsticks produces a clearer, softer sound. These different playing techniques offer a wide range of tonal variations and playing experiences.
Some advice regarding playing with your hands: When you use the right technique, you can get a nice sound from your instrument quite easily. It is extremely important to play the drum with a relaxed finger. You don't need to use a lot of force, it's just a light and short touch. It is therefore important to tap the tones only very briefly with a flexible / loose finger. When you play the drum with a tense finger, you dampen the vibration of the tones. Placing your finger on the drum for too long will also dampen the vibration of the drum.
