With this LIDAH® With the Zephyr Series Tongue Drum you will experience how clear a Tank Drum can sound. The oval design provides a clear sound that touches you deeply. With a diameter of 36 centimeters, the drum has an impressive sound. This makes the drum the perfect instrument for meditative and other spiritual purposes. Play the drum with your hands for a softer / quieter sound or with the included drumsticks for a clearer / louder sound. These different ways to play the Zephyr series drum provide a variety in playing experience and sound. This variant has 9 tones that form the Equinox tuning. The tongue shapes are manually cut from the steel, and tuned to perfection several times. This ensures the accurate tuning and the clean sound.

Which Tankdrum and key should I choose?
Constellation Series
The Constellation series has a diameter of 28cm and is available with 8 or 9 tones. The drum is characterized by a warm and deep sound. The drum has a long sustain which makes the tones sound nicely together. The G-Major and Lydian keys have an energetic and euphoric (happy) sound. The A-Minor tuning is relaxing and melancholic (sad) in nature where the AkeBono tuning is besides a relaxing sound also mystical in sound.
Zephyr Series
The Zephyr series is 36cm in diameter and has 9 tones. This drum is characterized by its clear and dynamic sound. This causes the tones to vibrate individually. As for the Zephyr series, the Equinox key contains both minor (B-Minor) and major (C-Major) components. It offers a relaxing and melancholic sound as well as euphoric uplifting sounds. The AkeBono key mainly offers an uplifting and mystical sound.
What can you use a Tongue Drum for?
The Tongue Drum is perfect for meditation, yoga, music therapy and other spiritual purposes. Many experience playing these instruments as enormously relaxing: "as if time stands still and all thoughts disappear for a moment". In addition, the Handpan and the Tongue Drum can be beautiful together or in combination with other instruments, such as the piano, violin or harp.

De kwaliteit van de drum ls absoluut geweldig. We hadden wat miscommunicatie over de kleur, maar ze hebben er alles aan gedaan om het te fixen. Ik ben ze super dankbaar en kom zeker nog een keer terug.

Hele mooie kwalitief zeer goede tonquepan. Je kunt deze meteen met stokjes bespelen, maar ook met de handen. Dit koste mij echter wel paar dagen, maar dat is juist het leuke eraan. De tonen horen bij elkaar en daardoor makkelijk om erop te improviseren. Heel blij mee.
